Personal experience drives DocVille founder and longtime industry executive Michael Ziegler's DocVille vision.

 

He sees tremendous, untapped potential in encouraging collaborative relationships and productive partnersships by eliminating boundaries and identifying commonalities between key individuals.

"Typically, people are well-networked in their local markets, and there are many great networks already providing tremendous value to our industry, including Aproged in France, VOI in Germany, Document@Work (BeNeLux) and AIIM. Being internationally active in our industry for 20 years, I experienced - through requests for international potential partner profiling, acquisition and job candidates, GTM strategies and so forth - a strong need for an internationally-focused network representing our entire Information Management ecosystem."

 

At DocVille, people from various countries and different backgrounds enhance the exchange of ideas and bring value to the network. Michael Ziegler

 

DocVille founder, Michael Ziegler, has 20 years of experience in the international Capture, ECM and BPM markets. Since 2006, through his company EUKOM, Michael has been providing strategic executive consulting in international M&A, GTM, expansion, turnaround/transition leadership, recruitment and investor relations to companies worldwide. Since 1993, he has held senior executive roles, inlcuding his most recent assignment as Vice President of European Sales at ABBYY.

 

Prior to ABBYY, Michael served as Senior Vice President Europe at Anacomp (DocHabor) and Managing Director, Kofax EMEA. At Kofax, he was the first European employee, established and built up the company’s highly successful EMEA operations, and later managed sales, marketing, operations, and technical support.


Michael earned his MBA in International Business from the European School of Business in Reutlingen and an engineering degree in computer science from the University of Applied Science, Darmstadt. He is an experienced public speaker and is fluent in 7 languages.

Dr. Heiner van den Berg

 

Starting his career 25 years ago as a SW Developer & Project Manager Heiner van den Berg has worked  for more than two decades in various international sales & senior leadership positions in the Information Management industry such as VP Software & Solutions EMEA at Kofax/Dicom, Sales Director Xerox. In addition he has experiences as a General Manager of a SaaS Start-up company (orgavision) and worked since more than 15 years as a Trainer, Coach and Consultant..

 

His working field is “Digital Transformation” with specific focus on Strategy, Business Model Innovation &  Change Management as well as Sales & Marketing. Heiner earned a Master and Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics at the Ruhr Universität Bochum. He is an experienced Speaker, Coach & Consultant.

Jennifer van Lent

 

Jennifer van Lent, Managing Consultant, helps European IT companies with inbound marketing and sales and believes the key to getting better leads and new customers is the right strategy, processes and content, not just technology. Her business experience includes holding senior management positions in marketing, sales and business development at Lexmark, Verizon, HYPE Innovation, Open Text and Spigraph. She has a Master of International Business degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (now part of Arizona State University).

Marc Anton Simonis

 

For over a decade Marc Anton Simonis has  served in various product marketing and management, pre-sales and consulting roles for international ECM and BPO companies such as Kofax, Iron Mountain, Saperion, SER/Brainware and d.velop where he gained a great experience in BPM, ECM and Data Capture  solutions both on-premise and in the cloud.

 

Joining DocVille, Marc brings a variety of great skills and knowledge in the areas of document and process automation including their go-to market strategy with focus on AP invoice , P2P, E-invoicing, Digital Mailroom, Sharepoint, SaaS and Data Extraction on a global level.

Marc has also extensive knowledge in the partner channel & BPO business as well as in vertical sectors including financial, insurance, healthcare & government.

Marc holds degrees in economics and in computer-science from the University of Koblenz/Germany.


 

Mike Dunleavy

 

Mike Dunleavy has served in Eureopean-focused Information Management (IM)-industry leadership roles for the past 15 years, including Hays Information Management and more recently as VP of Iron Mountain's Document Management Solutions division. In his roles, he has consistently delivered profitable growth out of both the public and the private sectors.

 

Joining DocVille, Mike brings a wealth of IM-specific expertise in pan-European business planning, development, establishment and expansion, including developing SaaS sales channels (end user, BPO) based upon a Distributed Capture environment.

 

Mike also has extensive experience selling and delivering IM services to end users customers in key vertical sectors including financial, insurance, legal and healthcare
